Average prices $499. June 16 $491. A year ago $570. Prices on good 650-850 lb. steers and bulls were $3-4 higher and $4-5 higher on 3-4 weights. Heifers were steady to $1.50 higher on #1 and #1 1/2 cattle. Plainer calves $2-3 lower and not much demand for marginal calves. Bred cows and pairs steady. Packer prices $2-3 higher on average.
