RUBY is a 3/26/01 daughter of MR Golden Link G7020 and has recorded an impressive progeny weaning ratio of 5@104 and ranks in the top 25% of active dams for YWEPD and REA. Mystic Hill Farms, Culpeper, VA won the top bid of $3,900.
Cow/Calf Pairs were in great supply and strong demand. Bluebonnet Braunvieh, Chateld, TX sold MISS MMR N242F, a 11/1/03 daughter of MR MMR Roldan Emperador ET with a 3/6/10 heifer calf by MR Mo’s Bullet 906T at $3,400 to Ted Jones, Greenbriar, TN.
Brink Livestock, Piedmont, KS sold BLC BETTER IDEA 542U, a 3/14/08 daughter of GLB Polled Plus 5003 ET with a 4/8/10 heifer calf by Vista 11L E530 P588 to H20 Ranch, Washington, TX at $3,200.
Tom Cefalu, Estelline, TX selected several lots including MISS BLU 25T from Bluebonnet Braunvieh. This 8/1/07 daughter of AAA Woodrings On Target 115N sold with her 2/7/10 heifer calf by MR Mo’s Bullet 906T at $3,100.
Brink Livestock sold BLC VADER’S LEIA 505U, a 2/27/08 daughter of BLC Dark Vader P820 with a 4/1/10 heifer calf by Vista 11L E530 P588 to Tom Cefalu at $2,900.
H20 Ranch sold R58-RITA, a 4/4/05 daughter of AAA Sure Enough 16L ET with a 2/14/10 herd sire prospect by WTR Laredo 210L to Bluebonnet Braunvieh at $2,700.
A quality set of bred heifers were offered with two heifers commanding the top bid in the division at $2,100.
J & L Braunvieh, Okemah, OK consigned MS JLB TRACI U108, a 4/8/08 daughter of MR JLB Coal R10 safe to MR JLB Ty U61. She was selected by Bean Cattle Co., Stevenson, AL.
DHR U92, a 9/13/08 daughter of AAA Momentum 14P safe to Diamond Eagle shared the top spot from Diamond H Ranch, Childress, TX and sold to CL Cattle Co., Crockett, TX. An added Lot From Woodring Ranch, Flint, TX commanded a price of $2,000. AAA MISS 63U, a 5/11/08 daughter of LLB P36 sold to H20 Ranch.
Topping the Open Heifer division was AAA WOODRING’S 59U ET. She is a 12/30/08 daughter of Silver Bullet 5549 and sold to Duke Hamm, Plano, TX at $1,800.
J-D Farms, Breshear, TX offered a quality set of heifers that included JDF STAR FIRE, a 1/29/09 daughter of JDF Negro Answer and sold to Andrew Davis, Goodhope, GA at $1,700.

WW Simmentals of Windsor, Missouri consigned lot 14, WWBMR Sacajawea. She is a 2/12/09 purebred Simmental heifer sired by Westfall Voyager 721P and is out of a Dream On sired cow. Jim Shell of China, Texas purchased her for $6,000.

Flat Broke Ranch of Troup, Texas purchased this female who is due to calve to SAV Pioneer on 12/27/10.
Stephens Angus Ranch of Graham, Texas consigned lot 23. STAR Designer 8058, a 8/8/08 daughter of GAR New Design 5050 who is out of an Objective sired female sold bred to Summitcrest Complete to McClung Ranch of Arlington, Texas for $3,200.
Steve Zybach of Briscoe, Texas purchased lot 29, RB Queenie 872 for $3,200. This 12/1/08 female sired by GAR Predestined that is out of a Precision 1680 sired cow who is bred to SQ Patriot was consigned by Boyer Angus Farm of Bowie, Texas.

It was a bittersweet day for the Jackson and Johnson Families as both knew that the dispersion was a result of the untimely passing of Ken Jackson, but also held much anticipation as it was a packed house with many prospective buyers. Ken Jackson and the Johnson Family had developed a cowherd that was very unique in that it not only combined cattle that excelled visually, but also statistically.
Lot 1, J&J Queen 414 a 1/29/04 daughter of Northern Improvement who is out of a A&B Yukon sired female sold to Price Farms of Elk City, Oklahoma for $22,750.
J&J Mabel 834, who was lot 5A, is a 2/7/08 daughter of J&J Double Take 550 that is out of a SAF Directive sired cow. She was purchased by Bent Creek Farms of North Royalton, Ohio for $13,500 with a 3/17/10 heifer calf sired by GCC
Osage 601S.
Fred Schultz of Stillwater, Oklahoma purchased lot 2A. J&J Queen 9044 a 3/4/09 daughter of EXAR Titlelist who is out of a A&B Yukon sired cow brought $11,500.
Mr. Schultz also purchased lot 3C, J&J Queen 9064. She is a 9/2/09 heifer sired by Raven and out of a Midland sired cow. She sold for $11,250.
Lot 14, 3F Jilt 4636 of 5133 EXT, a 9/8/04 female sired by EXT who is out of a 6807 sired cow was purchased by JE Ranch of Blanchard, Oklahoma for $10,500.
KB Cattle Co. of Wills Point, Texas selected her mother lot 3A. J&J Queen 613, a 2/4/06 female sired by Midland and out of a A&B Yukon sired cow brought $10,400.
Also included in the offering was a donation lot of a commercial Hereford heifer to benefit the A.J. Smith Memorial Scholarship fund at Oklahoma State University. Bell Point Ranch of Lavaca, Arkansas purchased the heifer for $2,000. Also the late Ken Jackson’s son, Larry, donated $2,000 through the purchase of a heifer and then resold the female for $2,000.
